Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church is a Christian community in the Lutheran tradition. Lutherans are "good news people!" We believe that Jesus has died for us and invites us into a living relationship with him. Lutherans refer to this as "justification by grace through faith." Our worship life is centered in the Word of God as it is revealed to us in the Bible and through the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Communion.

We welcome your interest, and share in your goal of a personal relationship with Jesus. We strive for that goal with a varied set of activities for children, youth and adults at our Greece location, easily reached in the Greater Rochester region. The Messiah experience includes contemporary, traditional and praise services as well as a range of ministries, educational and service opportunities.
Our faith community grew though a proud history as one congregation in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, a nationwide organization of almost 5,000,000 members, sharing beliefs about God, scripture, and our faith. Our future is bright as we walk with you on our spiritual journey!
