Signing Choir
deaf ASL sign language gospel music
Do you like to share music with others? Would you like to express your music in ways other than singing? If so, Messiah has a choir that uses American Sign Language (the second most popular language used in Monroe County, and third most popular language in the US) to interpret music for the deaf and offers their interpretation occasionally during the year at the worship services.
If you want to share the beauty of music with the deaf (and the hearing, too!) please join us Monday evenings at 6:30 pm in the choir room for rehearsals.
