Campaign runs each fall; please call the church office for dates.
What goes into a shoe-box:
Steps:
1. Find an Empty shoe box (wrap it if you like, lid separately so it can be opened to add Christ’s message.
2. Decide whether is will be for a boy of girl (2-4), (5-9),(10-14) mark this on the outside of the box.
3. Fill your shoe box with a variety of gifts, toys, schools supplies, hygiene items, Hard candy, sunglasses, watch, flashlight and extra batteries, etc.
(Don’t include used items, medicines, vitamins, breakable items, perishable items, liquids or war-related items.
4. Include a check for $5 or more inside an envelope placed on top of the gifts inside the box. ( the check should be made out to Samaritan's Purse)
That’s it. It’s more fun to shop for these items with someone else, a child that age, a parent, a grandson/daughter, or a friend.

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love. This program of Samaritan’s Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ, God’s greatest gift. Along with shoe box gifts, millions of children are given Gospel booklets in their own language. In 2004, we collected over 7 million shoe box gifts worldwide and distributed them to children in 95 countries.
